R version 4.1.1 downloaded from: R for macOS (I chose the first option since I don't have Big Sur) I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, restarting my computer, checking "which R" in Terminal as I saw suggested on an earlier thread, but nothing is working. Click on Mojave or High Sierra, depending on which you want to. Install failed with error: Update not found'. Click Continue and step through the pages of the app until you come to the one that asks you to choose the OS you want to install. Downloading and installing 10.15.1 installer. Blank hard drive - Find a USB external hard drive that holds at least 100 gigabytes (this is where you'll install your macOS stuff, so the bigger, the better). This is where my problem started - when I tried to launch R studio, the icon just bounced for a couple of minutes and then the app froze and would not open. Well, I just tried that software update command on my 'Catalina' system (that is also where I am entering this), and here is what I got: 'softwareupdate -fetch-full-installer -full-installer-version 10.15.1. In order to install macOS High Sierra on your Windows computer, you will need the following hardware: 1 USB drive - Find a flash drive that can hold at least 16 gigabytes. Then, my R studio gave me a message that "R graphics engine version 14 is not supported by this version of RStudio." Even though when I checked for updates, it said that there weren't any, I decided to uninstall and re-install the most recent version of R studio. I've been using R studio daily, but I needed to update my R version to load some packages in old code I was re-running, so I did that successfully. I am in need of some help because I am not able to get a new installation of R studio to open on my computer.
